Biography
Wrestlerish are a Triple SAMA, Triple MK Award, Pendoring Award nominated and Loerie Award winning band from Gauteng.
Having played festivals such as Oppikoppi, Aardklop, Ramfest, Innibos, KKNK, Splashy Fen and completed numerous national tours, Wrestlerish have firmly confirmed their place as one of South Africa's top live acts.
Always concious of their fans and wanting to involve them with as much of the process as possible, the band decided to do something special with the album artwork for their second album "Towns". They asked their fans to send them their favourite thing about their town and the best 5 would then be illustrated and included in the final product.
The first single off "Bodies of Water" quickly gathered playlisting and obtained the number 1 position on the 5FM Rock Chart, Tuks FM Top 30, Tuks FM SA Top 10 and the MK Top 10.
